The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the shift towards a more digital world and triggered changes in online shopping behaviours that are likely to have lasting effects.
Sadza.com is a company dedicated to serving the needs of communities all over the world to provide groceries and supplies to families and friends in Zimbabwe.
“ Sadza.com is slightly different from the current online grocery stores. We work directly with OK Zimbabwe which includes OK May and Bon Mache,” Manjengwa said.
“Customers are not limited they can access over 42 000 products and they do not encounter problems upon collecting their goods,” he added.
Sadza.com has been in the business for more than 20 years as it was established in 1999.
According to Manjengwa, every purchased product is directly and systematically taken from the store. He said that they do not mark up the products therefore what is paid online is what comes is what is purchased from the store with an added transaction fee.
“We also deliver when customers request but our model calls the recipient can pick the ordered products from any OK Store anywhere in Zimbabwe,” Manjengwa said.
Manjengwa said that this festive season they are taking advantage of OK’s sale and passing them on to Diaspora markets. He added that apart from groceries and all products found at OK Stores Sadza.com is also offers Home Health Services, Real Estate deals, Fuel, Legal Services, Car Rentals, Vacation deals, Catering Services, and online Methodist Hymnals to name a few.
