FAST-rising rapper, songwriter, and producer Holy Ten, real name Mukudzei Chitsama is set to surprise fans early this Christmas by performing a charity event at Danai children’s Home this month.

Speaking to Business Mail Showbiz, Tinashe Jani who is part of the Holy Ten music management team said that they want to fundraise money and resources  for Danai Children’s Home.

“We had  a meeting with the board of Danai Children’s home and we discuss what they require.

“During the show will be also selling Holy Ten branded merchandise, 50% of sales we will be donated to support Danai Children’s home,” Jani said.

The event is in the same week that Holy Ten will be celebrating his birthday on the 18th of November. “Holy Ten is having his birthday celebrations at the children’s home, will have a photo session and private performance open to Danai Children’s Home fans only for that we abide by COVID-19 regulations,” Jani said.

This publication also managed to speak to Danai Children’s Home Chairperson Ariel Msemburi who expressed happiness towards Holy Ten’s initiative of being humane action since they are facing challenges.

“Our biggest challenge is financial problems as we are failing to meet the daily costs so that we look after the children and salaries of our staff members,” Msemburi said.

Danai Children’s Home is in the care of children ranging from 1-21 years old is largely self-funding and also relying on donor support.

“We have a few regular well-wishers that we call ‘Friends of Danai’ that helps us to meet our daily needs. Holy Ten’s gesture has touched us all at Danai, especially during the outbreak of the deadly pandemic that has affected the economy and individual business,” he said.
