DESPITE all sorts of evil things that are associated with the high-density dormitory town of Epworth, the town has become a hub of musical creativity.
McChevy Studio is founded by born Epworth producers, who are brothers Calisto, Marvellous, Manex, Nobert, and Sevy Machevele and it is set to make waves in the music industry.
The vision of the Machevele brothers is to create employment for youth who are among the high rate of unemployed people in the area of Epworth.
“We are not motivated by the drive to make money out of the studio, rather we are talented and oriented. Our thrust is to explore and expose young talents,” Forward Gurira the spokesperson of McChevy Studio.
McChevy studio is living up to their objectives as they have managed to produce for a hip-hop group True Vains which had attracted great listenership on national radio stations with their debut song ‘Pool party’.
“McChevy studio has also worked with renowned musicians like Maskiri Lady Squanda, Uncle Epatan, and Silent Killer,” said Gurira.
