Government has joined forces with Eight2Five Innovation Hub powered by Old Mutual to capacitate the Zimbabwean youth with information and knowledge.
Eight2Five Innovation Hub has been gathering insights from the youth with the aim of addressing the business needs for youth and economic development.
In a virtual meeting held on the hub’s social media pages, Ministry of Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture Kirsty Coventry availed knowledge transfer opportunities to entrepreneurs such as tax compliance, branding and communication strategies.
Many young people had a chance to be capacitated through the online meeting and they aired out their grievances especially in the wake of the novel pandemic, Coronavirus.
Covid-19 has imparted unmatched effects to young entrepreneurs who play a key role in the Zimbabwean economy, therefore affecting their survival and growth.
In future the Start-up and Entrepreneurs Meet-ups will allow more youth to engage with Eight2Five and government.
