THE late businessman and socialite Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure was a unique character that is not going to be easily replaced, Irvine Matanga said.
Ginimbi died in a horrific accident with the other three, was said to have started engaging in small business transactions at the age of 17 as he became a middle-man securing gas for domestic users.
He was also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of a gas company, Pioneer Gases which has interests in Botswana, South Africa, and Zimbabwe.
Speaking to Business Mail in Domboshava, Matanga who is a Politian-cum-businessman said that the country has lost a serious businessman who worked hard to raise the country’s flag high.
“Ginimbi was rising our country’s internationally because of the interaction that he had all over the world. He supported President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision 2030 through various businesses in the country,” Matanga said.
“We are happy with the developments that Ginimbi did in terms of road infrastructure, water, and sanitation,” he said.
