The leading supplier of bricks has recorded an increased profit after the government relaxes the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions.
Government recently announced the relaxation of the coronavirus lockdown restriction which affected operations and production of companies.
The company had an upward review of revenue by an increase of 22% compared to last year, the revenue was driven by both volume and growth.
Willdale Limited company secretary Mavuto Munginga upheld the relaxation of COVID-19 lockdown which has pave way for the company increased revenue.
“The opening up of the economy following the relaxation of COVID-19 lockdown has renewed optimism in the housing development and will spur demand for bricks into the future. The relatively low levels of transmissions are encouraging for the business,” Munginga said.
“Sales volume for the quarter review were 49% above prior year driven by individual housing developments and this brought up year to date volume to 12% above the preceding year.”
