Pacific 24hr Hospital in Mabvuku has joined the implementation of the vaccination program after government roped in the private sector in the roll out of COVID-19 vaccines.
Government made an announcement in July this year that participating private health institutions will be required to report daily statistics to provincial medical directors and city health directors, as well as report any adverse events after immunization.
In an interview with BusinessMail, the Hospital’s Sister in Charge (SIC), Ludia Matani the Hospital’s Sister in Charge (SIC) said Pacific 24hr Hospital joined other private sectors on the immunization program last Thursday.
The vaccine is offered at a small administration tariff of $2 is charged to cater for transport, fuel and logistics.
Zimbabwe launched COVID-19 vaccination programme on February 28 this year and is targeting vaccinating 60 percent of its 14million population this year.
“Everyone is free to visit Pacific 24hr Hospital without any discrimination”, the SIC also said.
Pacific 24hr Hospital is vaccinating people from 8:00hrs to 15:00hrs every day.
